Nicéphore Niépce

Nicéphore Niépce was the first to invent photography. He was a french inventor that was interested in lithography but was bad at drawing. His first photograph was taken in 1825. He captured the photo from his work room window using light sensitive chemicals on a piece of metal. The photo took eight hours of light exposure to create the photo. The photo is now kept at the Harry Ransom Humanities Research Center at the University of Texas.
